What are the age ranges for camp?

We offer camp for ages 3yo – 12 yo. Camp groups are divided into teams based on ages (3-4yo, 5-7yo, 8-10yo, 11-12yo). Campers stick with their group and counselors all week.

The 11-12 year old team will have an advanced curriculum on rotating topics. Themes for each week are listed by the dates. Subject matter experts will lead related activities for an even richer experience.

All other age ranges will participate in our traditional camp activities each week for a well rounded, unforgettable farm camp experience.

I have a 3 year old who is not potty trained, can he come?

No - campers must be potty-trained in order to attend camp.

Do campers eat lunch there?

Yes! We have designated lunch and snack times built into the daily schedule. Campers are required to bring their own lunch and snack to camp.

My kids have a lot of allergies - is this the right camp for them?

The best determinate will be you, the parent/guardian.

Campers are outside for the entirety of camp and come in close contact with animals, a variety of animal feeds that contain grains, and may or may not be produced in factories with nuts. Grasses, pollen, poison ivy, ants, bees, wasps are also in the outside environment and while we try our best to avoid certain dangers, the risks remain. Each group leader carries a first aid kit, a registered nurse is on staff who can administer medications in the case of an emergency.

We’ve had a variety of campers with allergies join us and enjoy their time at camp. But you as the parent are the best determinate. It is important that YOU feel comfortable while your camper is here. If you have specific questions regarding your child’s health, please contact us to discuss.

My kids are very attached to each other – can they be in the same group even if they are different ages?

We require that campers are registered in the group that matches their age during that camp session. We are happy to make adjustments during camp on a case-by-case basis should you think it is best for your child’s needs. However, in our experience most campers thrive when they can have time to independently develop relationships with their peers.

What if I need to cancel my spot?

We require a 50% non-refundable deposit at time of registration. However, you have a 24-window from the time of your registration for a full refund. After the 24 hour mark, the non-refundable deposit is in place. Camp must be paid in full within 30 days of the first day of your camp session. Should you need to cancel for any reason prior to 30 days of your camp session, you will receive a refund less the 50% nonrefundable deposit. Cancellations within 30 days of camp session are not eligible for a refund.

Do you offer payment installations for registration fees?

Yes! At checkout, you will have the option to pay in full or pay the 50% non-refundable deposit and break the remaining balance into 3 installments. The installment payments will be made automatically each month.

Oh no, camp filled up! Is there a waitlist?

Yes! We have a “living waitlist” for each camp session and age group. If a camp session is full, you have the option of signing up for the waitlist. Should spaces open in that session due to cancellations, the system will automatically contact individuals on the waitlist for that session via email in chronological order. Once contacted, you will have 48 hours to snag the available spot before the system moves on to the next family on the waitlist. If you do not respond, the system will automatically remove you from the waitlist.

I have multiple children I would like to sign up – how do I do that?

You will be able to add information for multiple children and checkout in one transaction. A tutorial video will be available soon.

Do you offer sibling discounts?

Yes! We have a tiered discount in place. If you register two children, you receive $20 off the total cost of camp, for 3 children you recieve $30 the total cost of camp, for 4 children you receive $40 off the total cost of camp. The system will automatically add the discounts to your cart that apply.

Is there a specific dress code or uniform for campers?

Sort of. Included in the cost of registration is a camper T-shirt that is color-coded to their age group/team. For safety purposes, we require that campers wear their camp shirt each day. During the check-out process, you will have the option to purchase additional camp shirts to make laundry day a little less daunting. Closer to the summer session, we will send an email to registrants with camp specifics including our recommendations how to best dress for the environment.

What do campers do while they are there?

We live by the motto: “if you’re not dirty, you’re not having fun!”. Alongside their peers, campers will : learn about and care for our many farm animals; interact with nature; try their hand at gardening; explore their creativity through arts and crafts; and develop sportsmanship through friendly team competitions.

My child is very attached to me, can I stay at camp?

No - our camp is drop-off only. We have a very high counselor to camper ratio, so campers will receive lots of supervision and positive attention! In our experience, the first few minutes on the first day of camp can feel the most challenging for campers and parents who are not used to being separated. Once the day gets started, campers have so much fun they hardly look back!

I have an 11 year old – will he have fun?

We are excited to expand upon our themed curriculum exclusive to our oldest group – the 11-12 year olds. Each week will have a concentration on a particular topic (ex. Equine care, Woodworking, etc.) Campers in this age group will still have exposure to the other areas of camp like general animal care and gardening, but will focus most of their time during the week on the specific area of concentration. Campers will learn new skills from subject-matter experts, complete a related project as a group, and have a special take-home related to their concentration.

When registering, please take care to select a week that jives with your child’s interests. Please note: if you have multiple children in different age groups, only the 11-12 group will have a specific concentration. Younger groups will have the traditional format of camp.

Can you accommodate special needs children?

We are happy to work with you to determine if our camp style and set-up is a good fit for your special needs child. Depending on the case, your child may have a medical support person who would be permitted to attend camp with your child, for example. We are proud to be an inclusive space where we have seen so many children thrive. The safety of your camper is paramount. Please contact us to discuss specifics of your child’s needs.

Do you allow carpool pickup?

Yes – once registered, you will be able to input members of your carpool who are permitted to pick up your camper.
