Experience the magic of an old-fashioned Christmas at Hunter Farm! Start with a festive wagon ride to the barn, where children can drop off their letters to Santa in our magic mailbox and visit our friendly farm animals. Warm up by the fire with a hot beverage, and let little ones pick their perfect Christmas tree.

• Christmas Trees near Charlotte: Our fresh-cut Fraser firs, handmade garlands, and wreaths come from a partner family farm Chestnut Hill Tree Farm in Ashe County, NC. Enjoy full-service shopping with tree trimming, netting, and loading here at the Hunter Farm in the town of Weddington, North Carolina.

• Visit the Petting Barn: Reserve a spot on the wagon ride to enjoy a magical holiday moment under the barn lights, where families can meet our farm animals, see Santa’s sleigh, and snap holiday photos. Reservations are encouraged to ensure barn access, with limited walk-ins available.

• The Market Barn: Drawing on our Weddington roots as the original post office, the Market Barn offers a curated selection of holiday gifts and exclusive Hunter Farm items. Discover vintage goods, infant clothing, homewares, handmade toys, and collectibles—perfect for holiday giving.

• Live Nativity Special Event: We will host our fourth annual Christmas Special entitled Live Nativity: A Journey to Bethlehem. Tickets are available via our website HERE . With only three shows, space is limited.
